The Gardall 1818-2 carries dual UL ratings: a 2-hour fire endurance rating with a drop test (furnace-tested up to 1850°F while keeping interior temperatures below 350°F during testing and cool-down) and a UL Residential Security Container (RSC) burglary rating.

Built for robust security, the safe features a 4-1/4" thick door with a recessed anti-pry design and solid 2-1/2" thick walls. The door is secured by five active 1" diameter round locking bolts extending into the safe body, backed by an independent relocker and hardplate to prevent drill attacks.

Available standard with a mechanical combination lock or an optional electronic keypad upgrade, the safe includes a solid chrome handle with a built-in shear point designed to snap and spin free under forced pressure. A center bolt-down hole allows you to anchor the safe directly to the floor.

For easier placement and transport, the heavy-duty door is fully removable.

The Gardall 1818-2 includes a lifetime fire damage replacement guarantee (replacing the safe at no charge, excluding shipping).
